WATCH US FARM
Watch Us Farm is 501(c)(3) specializing in vocational training for adults and older kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During my time at Watch Us Farm, I performed in several different capacities: event planning, cultivating and leading a car detailing team, creating a line of cards, weaving, as well as training and supervising teams. One of my official titles was Business Administration Assistant to the owners. In this role, I created social media pages on multiple platforms under Watch Us Farm, linked them all for the owner's ease, and produced an engaging and consistent content schedule. I also worked with an outside vendor to design and develop the same website the nonprofit still uses today, including an e-commerce shop.

FALL FESTIVAL
Our goal was to provide a space full of fun, learning, and respite for families with a child with a developmental challenge. I started by designing a homemade poster for the event, with the help of a local artist, and circulated it on our social media, asking our volunteers to do the same. Soon, the event had some buzz going on. Armed with odds and ends, I devised roughly 15 booths we could easily create and operate. The only overhead was prizes for the booths and a few crafting supplies: construction paper, paint, brushes, and pipe cleaners. We created a way for attendees to reserve timed tickets so we would never be too flooded at any one time. One day, the team and I harvested loads and loads of pumpkins, and I painted about 40 of them the day after. On event day, I delegated to volunteers and we set up the different booths around the perimeter of the farms' hayfield. We set the decorated pumpkins back in the patch so the kids could go around and pick out a prepped pumpkin or an already decorated one. Soon enough, our guests began arriving, and a full day of fun, laughter and hard work unfolded.
